Good view, good location, good breakfast

No elevator

Good location, though in Flåm I doubt there's a location that isn't beautiful. The breakfast was great! The room was spacious, and the bathroom was clean.

Amazing view of the mountains. The Scenery couldn't be beat. The room was very cozy and inviting with modern amenities while still keeping the Nordic feel. The breakfast was amazing with a variety of options!

The view, the cleanliness and location. The rooms were comfortable with nice balconies looking out on to yeh fjords. There was also a great coffee machine and the breakfasts were terrific. Dinner at the brewpub was excellent.

I think the staff could have been a bit friendlier and more welcoming.

Perfect location adjacent to the fjord and Flan station. Great Viking brew pub with open fire.

What’s not to like

Convenient location to train and ferry, beautiful view.

Evening front desk staff wasn't particularly friendly. The room was very hot and it took two complaints and aprox 24hrs before it was adjusted.

The location was spectacular, the room was comfortable, and the breakfast was phenomenal.

The walls were thin and we could hear the people in the room beside us.

The hotel was conveniently located within walking distance to the Flam Railway and also to the dock to board the ferry to explore the fjords. The property was beautifully preserved and set in a picturesque area surrounded by mountains. Our room was a twin standard with a balcony, complete with two wooden spindle chairs and a table. We could see the fjord and the mountain while enjoying the excellent coffee which was available in the rooms. The room was quite comfortable with two upholstered chairs, table, and small refrigerator. The bed was firm and comfortable. The reception staff received us warmly and went above and beyond in helping us with the hand cart to load our luggage into the elevator. This was the first hotel in our trip to have an ice machine which we could access and take an ice bucket to our rooms. We thoroughly enjoyed the 2-night stay. The Brewery Pub restaurant, steps from our room offered excellent food, great service at reasonable prices. In addition to being so near the two excursions we took with the ferry cruise and railway travels up the mountain, there is also multiple stores and shops on the property. Given our stay was during off season, some of the shops were closed but we visited the museum, the Coop Market and the Museam shop which sold clothing and other Norway souvenirs.

Comfortable beds, beautiful location

Cruise ship was in the dock and blocked all views- very disappointing as that was a big part of our decision to use the hotel

The staff helped us out twice- the breakfast was amazing! The shower was wonderful! The proximity to Aegir’s restaurant was fabulous. We had done marathon shopping we’re worried the restaurant would be closed. Instead they were open, had a warm fireplace going, and had totally sensational food.

I thought I had rented a room with a view of the bay but there was a cruise ship blocking that view.

Spacious rooms with balconies. Great location.

Tour bus breakfasts (watered juice, cheap sausage). Limited parking on site.

Perfect location right next to the train station and boat cruise quay. Comfortable clean rooms, fantastic breakfast. Would recommend.
